Glenn Spencer was drafted in the Army July 18^th,1966.  Retired from the Utah National Guard as 1^st Sgt in 2002.  He earned his VFW eligibility by serving in Vietnam April 1966 t0 May 1967. Besides his Vietnam campaign medals he has received both State and Federal Army Commendation medal Saint Barber Artillery medal, Meritorious Service medal and many other medals and ribbons.  His military duties have been Survey Chief, Battalion Supply Sgt and Battery First Sgt.

Glenn joined the VFW in 2022 at Post 12087 in West Jordan, Utah, where he is serving as Post Quartermaster and maintains his life membership.
