VFW Riders

ABOUT US:

The Utah Veterans of Foreign Wars Riders (VFWR) is a motorcycle riders' group affiliated with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) organization. This group operates independently and is not sponsored by any military branch or motorcycle manufacturer. The VFWR was established to create a community for combat veterans eligible for VFW membership and their families, all united by a shared enthusiasm for motorcycling.

Our membership consists of veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces, who ride a variety of motorcycle types.

The mission of the VFWR is to provide support and assistance to those who have bravely defended our country and its freedoms. Our primary focus is on helping individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations, and registered charities through the donation of our time, labor, friendship, and various forms of assistance as needed.

Membership is categorized into three distinct groups:
- VFW Members: Individuals who are members of the VFW.
- Auxiliary Members: Individuals who are members of the VFW Auxiliary.
- Support Members: Non-combat military service members dedicated to assisting veterans.

Please note that we are a RIDERS GROUP, distinct from a MOTORCYCLE CLUB (MC). Although we may be based in a specific geographic region, we do not make any territorial claims. Our organization does not have a clubhouse and does not use cuts or colors; instead, we wear vests featuring a single patch on our backs. The VFWR is not affiliated with the Confederation of Clubs (COC), though our patches have received their approval.
