All State Officers and Past 5 Department Commanders must attend each COA meeting. If you are unable to attend, it is your responsibility to inform the Department Commander and obtain their approval for your absence.

Each District and Post is required to have either the Commander, Senior Vice Commander, or Junior Vice Commander present at the CofA. If you cannot send a representative, you must notify the Department Commander and secure approval for your District or Post's absence.

For the Riders, either the President or the Vice President from each riders group is mandated to attend the CofA. If attendance is not possible, you must inform the Department Commander to seek approval for the absence of the Riders.

COA meetings are open to ALL VFW Members (Make sure you bring your membership card)
