I joined under the eligibility of my husband, Doug (deceased) who retired from the Navy after20 years. 

I have been an Auxiliary member for 21 years and I am a lifetime member. My home Auxiliary is 8307 Layton, UT.

My "why" is in honor of my husband and also my son (who served 10 years in the Army and is deceased).  Giving back to Veterans and their families is very important to me as I remember during those 20 years as a Navy wife the many times either service members or family members were there for me and my children.
